I still don’t agree with a lot of the music programming on Triplej (too much rock, too much safety) but I will give a big thumbs up to their turn of social and political consciousness, spoken through Today Today but more effectively with Hack, Steve Cannane’s weekdays half an hour current affairs program at 5.30pm. Treated in an interesting, thought provoking way, Hack proves that the youth can still connect to a range of meaningful issues.
